How to make a difference

Offer your support by becoming a lifetime member of the Trust.

A purchase of a single £25 share gives you the right to vote on what we do and how we do it within your community. If you register by Friday 23rd June, you can also vote at our first AGM which takes place on July 1st 2017 at our Spice Up Ore Valley event.

It’s easy to buy a lifetime membership share online from this website. Just go to the Heart of Hastings CLT share offer page and follow the steps. This democratic system ensures that however many shares you buy, you will still only be able to have one vote.

Invest in sharing and shaping the future

This is a new opportunity for everyone with available funds who would like to invest between £5,000 – £50,000 to help the CLT purchase an initial property in the White Rock Area. If you would like to request our F.A.Q , pledge form and Business Plan document,

please  contact  info@heartofhastings.org.uk  or use the contact form on this website.

Alternatively, we welcome your support of this Community Land Trust and invite  you to become a member and shareholder of the Heart Of Hastings by purchasing a minimum of 1 share at £25 per share – the perfect gift for friends and family who may have fond memories or simply love Hastings.

Please click our links on the right for more details of the investment and becoming a shareholder.

What’s Happening in Ore Valley……..

Some big ideas are shaping up….

Heart of Hastings Community Land Trust is proposing a community self build of housing, work space, the Green-way and other facilities, using a radical approach called “Organisation Workshop” with 80-100 local people directly contributing to making it happen.

The BUD (Bottom UDevelopment) team is growing steadily as local residents get active and interested to play a part in reshaping the old power station site.

What would you like to see happen?..

Your ideas and thoughts are important to us so that we can work together to build the type of development  you feel is most suited to this connecting space within the valley.

It deserves a new start after years of abandonment and neglect.

We need help with many jobs on site working alongside a growing caring group of local people where everyone is welcome.

General opening hours for April:

Monday – 10 to 4pm

Wednesday – 2 to 4pm

Friday – 12 to 4pm

Saturday – 10 to 4pm

We are dependent on our hard-working volunteers, and need at least two people at the site to open it, so these times can vary, and are weather dependent, and will change if there are specific events planned on the same date.
