Projects

Heart of Hastings CLT are delighted to work with many partners and collaborators across Hastings and beyond.

Here are some of the projects, plans, and ideas we are sinking our teeth into at the moment.

The Trinity Triangle Neighbourhood

We are currently focusing on work in the Trinity Triangle, through the Historic England funded Trinity Triangle Heritage Action Zone. This heritage and community focused project is funded over a period of four years. You can learn more about this community-led regeneration programme here.

Hastings Library of Things

Heart of Hastings is providing support to this wonderful idea, a lending library for all kinds of useful things. Household goods, tools, partyware, kitchen gadgets, things for community groups and things for the garden. The library of things will be housed in Eagle House, Cambridge Road and is currently gathering items and volunteer librarian! Learn more about the soon-to-open Library of Things here.

Hastings Emerging Futures Project

In collaboration with the Common Treasury of Adaptable Ideas, Hastings Hive and the organisations of the Hastings Commons, we have been working on this exciting project during 2020-2021. Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, we have invited the people of Hastings to imagine what can help us, and the place we live, to thrive in the future. Our public conversations about the future of the town centre, community influence and power, housing, and the environment have been energising and shifted the way we think about things.
